Timothy is the Senior Director of Standards and Innovation at Singtel Group Technology and Networks. He leads the development of Singtel Group’s future technology and innovation and is also responsible for the group’s representation at various SDOs such as GSMA, TM Forum and O-RAN Alliance. His current focus is on AI, Autonomous Networks, 5G Advanced and Open RAN.

Timothy is an accomplished telecommunications professional with extensive experience across the industry. He began his extensive career at Singtel in 2003 as a Network Engineer, rolling out Asia Pacific’s first 3G network, before moving to Ericsson in 2008, where he took on various roles in Multimedia & SI, Product Sales Support and Business Development. Timothy subsequently rejoined Singtel in 2014 and spent the next 10 years in key roles in the areas of Enterprise IoT/M2M Development, Mobile Operations, IP Network Engineering, and Business Planning & Transformation.

Timothy has a deep technical background, having spent 2 years in Machine Learning research, published technical journal articles and co-authored IoT and Autonomous Networks Technical Reference papers. His areas of expertise cover Mobile Core and Radio networks, IoT/M2M, Broadband networks, Mobile Backhaul, IP/SDN, AI/ML and OSS/BSS.
